Privacy in plain language.
Our public website is for business-level conversations. It is not a patient portal and should never be used to send protected health information.
What we collect
When you submit a Revenue Health Check, workshop registration, partner application or booking, SmartMBX may collect the business contact information you provide: name, role, practice or company, work email, phone, specialty, broad workflow needs and selected appointment time. We also use basic security information such as a one-way hash derived from the request address for abuse prevention.
Anonymous website measurement
If you choose “Allow anonymous analytics,” we count only an allowlisted page view, CTA click or booking-start event together with the page path and any campaign tags already present in the link. We do not assign a visitor or session ID, set an analytics cookie, collect a referrer, fingerprint your device, build an advertising profile or use a cross-site tracker. These events contain no free text or patient information.
Your choice is stored only on your device, can be changed through “Privacy choices” in the footer and is overridden when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.
How we use it
We use this information to answer the request, prepare a conversation, manage the business relationship, operate our CRM, send requested workshop or booking information, attribute an approved partner referral, understand which public journeys are useful and protect the website from abuse.
What not to submit
Do not submit patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, claim numbers, diagnoses, treatment details or any other patient-identifying information through public forms, public chat or ordinary email.
Sharing and service providers
SmartMBX may use hosting, email, calendar and business software providers to operate these functions. We do not sell patient information. Any handling of protected health information for a client engagement is governed separately by the applicable service agreement, BAA and approved systems.
Retention and choices
Business inquiries are retained as needed for follow-up, recordkeeping, security and legal obligations. You may ask us to correct or delete business contact information, subject to records we must retain. You may opt out of marketing email at any time.
